About Us
I started out as a helper in 1997 after I left the military. I started All Around Flooring as a sole proprietor in 1998. First 10 years was on the commercial side doing everything from carpet tile, VCT, glue down lvt / lvp, and specializing in flash cove sheet vinyl. In 2008 during the economy tanking I started dabbling in between commercial and residential. Started taking waterproofing classes and seeking out those type of certifications. Converted over to a full residential installer right around 2010. Started out doing hardwood floors, laminate and tile/hard surfaces. In 2011 did my first custom tile shower and fell in love with the artistry and complexity that comes with building and waterproofing a shower and making something last a lifetime.
Over the years have taken multiple classes and gotten several certifications. Learned about the NTCA and without a question knew that was something that I needed to become a part of to better myself and my business practices when it comes to tile installations and being able to become good at what I do. Knowing and following known improving procedures is what I feel helps separates me from others in this industry. I am always looking for ways to better my company, better my installation procedures and give my customers the most up-to-date installation products and procedures that I can offer. I pride myself on being able to turn over a project to a homeowner at the end of that knowing that I did my best and can stand behind it with a lifetime labor warranty and the products that I use in my installations will stand behind me anywhere from 10yr to a Lifetime with their warranties.
